SWITCH CABINET

The main function of the switch cabinet is to open and close, control and protect electrical equipment during the process of power generation, transmission, distribution and electrical energy conversion in the power system. The switch cabinet is mainly composed of circuit breakers, isolating switches, load switches, operating mechanisms, mutual inductors, and various protection devices. According to the voltage level, the switch cabinet can be divided into high voltage switch cabinet, medium voltage switch cabinet and low voltage switch cabinet. According to the installation method of the circuit breaker, the switch cabinet can be divided into removable type switch cabinet and fixed type switch cabinet. According to the different cabinet structure, switch cabinets can be divided into open switch cabinets, metal enclosed switch cabinets, and metal-clad enclosed switch cabinets. The switch cabinet is mainly used in the fields like power plants, substations, petrochemicals, metallurgical steel rolling, light industry and textiles, factories and mining enterprises, residential quarters, and high-rise buildings.

The ring main unit cabinet makes the power supply main line form a closed loop, and each power distribution branch can take power from both its left and its right main line. When the left main line fails, they continue to receive power from the right main line; and when the right main line fails, they continue to receive power from the left main line. In this way, although the total power supply is single power supply, but from the perspective of each distribution branch, it similar to dual power supply which can improve the reliability of the power supply.

The shunt capacitor device is mainly used to compensate the reactive power of the inductive load of the power system (such as motors, transformers, etc.) to increase the power factor, improve the voltage quality, and reduce the line loss.

The reactive power compensation cabinet is mainly used to improve the power quality of the low-voltage power distribution system, such as reactive power compensation, suppression of harmonics, reducing voltage fluctuations and flicker, and solving three-phase imbalance.

The distribution box is the bottom equipment of the power distribution system, which has the advantages of high level of safety protection and intuitively display the conduction state of the circuit. The distribution box can be divided into the power distribution box and the lighting distribution box.
