Introduction
XRNT5 series is a high-voltage current-limiting backup fuse suitable for electrical systems with a rated voltage of 15.5KV (50Hz). XRNT5 series is used for short circuit protection of power transformers. The XRNT5 series is connected in series with the PRNT13 to provide full range protection.

Under specified conditions, it can reliably break any fault current between the minimum breaking current and the rated breaking current.
The fuse should be placed in the transformer oil, and its surrounding temperature should not exceed 100℃.
